TOOL LIBRARY / CALENDAR, MEETINGS & COMMUNICATION
Cal.com
Creates booking pages and routes meetings to the right person on a team.
What it is
Cal.com lets individuals publish booking links and lets teams share availability, ask intake questions, direct a request to the right host, and distribute meetings across several calendars. Most teams use the hosted service. A technical team can also run a separate community edition on its own systems.
Ways to use it
Ideas from real executive operations work. Take the ones that fit.
- Publish separate booking links for briefings, interviews, vendor calls, and office hours.
- Ask intake questions before a meeting is confirmed.
- Direct a request to the right host based on the respondent's answers.
- Distribute meetings across a team or require several people to be available.
- Add buffers, notice periods, and daily limits around bookable time.
Our take
Choose Cal.com when a team needs flexible routing rules or has a technical reason to control its own installation. A single executive with ordinary external meetings may be well served by the free hosted plan or a simpler booking tool.
